Provenance and Acquisition
Owned by Vaşiḥ al-l- Mulk, poetically surnamed Shúrida Shūrīdah Shīrāzī, Muḥammad Taqī, 1857 or 1858-1926 or 1927, by whom it must have been transcribed.
Given to Mr W. A. Smart at Shíráz in the spring of 1913 by Faşiḥu'l- Mulk, poetically surnamed Shúrida, by whom I think it must have been transcribed,
given to me by my friend Mr W. A. Smart, and to him
The manuscript was given to E. G. Browne by Mr W. A. SmartShūrīdah Shīrāzī, Muḥammad Taqī, 1857 or 1858-1926 (Faşiḥ al-Mulk), in return for eight volumes of Persian texts.
