Summary of Contents: ʾAlfīyah is one of the most reliable grammatical works in the Arabic literature. It is a versified work including 1,000 couplets composed in Rajaz metric. ʾAlfīyah is compiled in 71 chapters. Numerous commentaries have been written on this work so far, of which Suyūṭ‭ī's commentary is the most popular in the Iranian religious schools.
