Summary of Contents: In Minasian collection, there are 19 manuscripts under the generic title of Adʿīyah [Prayers]. The reason is that their individual titles have remained unknown for different reasons, including defective incipits and explicits.

Support: Western paper (plain), natural buff, regular thickness; triple ruling (gilt and black), single decorative frame. Paper edges have book mending.

Hand(s)

Naskh and Nastaʿalīq, two hands, regular hand. Anonymous

Additions: Chronogram of Tabrīz earthquake in 1194, "az zilzilah shud kharāb Tabrīz". It should be noted that the chronogram in Abjad letters will refer to the year of 1194 only if we ignore the word "Tabrīz", i.e. it is "az zilzilah shud kharāb" which equals to 1194. This is discussed in "Mavād al-tavārīkh" of the late Ḥusayn Nakhjavānī (printed in Tehran, 1343, page 451). Ownership note wiped out. Oval, illegible stamp. Rectangular, illegible stamp.

Black leather, 14 × 23 cm, front + back cover, single layer of leather only.
