A work on the mystical properties of the letters of the alphabet

*Bodley MS. appears to be the same as Rieu 828, which says the work is largely made up of extracts from a work entitled al-Jafr al-jāmiʻ wa-al-nūr al-sāṭiʻ by Abū Sālim al-Naṣībī, Muḥammad ibn Ṭalḥah, 1186 or 7-1254 or 5 . The incipit of our MS. = that of Ahlwardt 4213, i. e. the Miftāḥ al-jafr al-jāmiʻ of Ibn al-ʻArabī, 1165-1240 , but the end is not similar
