MS. Bodl. Or. 68 (Bodleian Library, Oxford University)
Oriental Manuscripts
Contents
[on medicine, in 4 aqwāl; Karshuni]
* Payne-Smith follows Pusey, p. 563 [corrig. to Uri Syr. 111 (i)] in ascribing the work to " Zayn al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥalabi d. 1143 " and describing it as an abridgment of the Minhāj al-dukkān of ʻAṭṭār al-Hārūnī, Dāwud ibn Abī Naṣr, 13th cent. [despite the anachronism], but the passage of H. Khalf. relied on by Pusey in MS. Caps. Or. C. 26, f. 524 does not appear in the printed editions. See SALJ, §176 and Steinschn. ZDMG 56 (1902), pp. 77-85. Brockelmannʼs first edn. (I. 492) followed P. Sm., but the reference ??(?) is deleted from Suppl. and G. second edn.
